Graduation from this 4 year highly specialized degree program in Phytotherapy grants entry by invitation only for membership to both the CPP - College of Practitioners of Phytotherapy) and the NIMH - National Institute Medical Herbalists - the oldest regulating body of Medical Herbalists in the World, established in 1864.

REGISTRATIONS: Western Botanical Medicine is one of the first herbal tincture companies in the USA to become certified organic in 2004! Their manufacturing facility is registered with the FDA and follows current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). 

THE PROCESS: Western Botanical Medicine sources high quality certified organic herbs from organic growers as well as reputable organic herb suppliers who have integrity, not low prices. At Western Botanical Medicine a premium is paid for high quality herbs. Only certified organic or conscientiously wild crafted herbs, certified organic cane alcohol and filtered spring water are used in the manufacturing of our high potency & effective herbal tinctures.

Herbs are fully macerated (soaked) in an alcohol and water mixture in stainless steel or glass vessels for a minimum of two weeks after which they are pressed in stainless steel equipment. The resultant liquid herbal extract, known as a herbal tincture, is then filtered and bottled in glass only. Plastic is never used to store our tinctures. Western Botanical Medicine's herbal tinctures are supplied in 4, 8, 16, & 32oz amber glass bottles.
